What’s the difference between 10 users and 30 users for your IT infrastructure?

1. Hardware management becomes increasingly standardized and bought for reliability, not just low cost.
2. Software licensing methods change from per-seat purchases to central subscription management.
3. Backend server and hosted service capacities grow for higher concurrent connections.
4. IT administration processes become increasingly automated and proceduralized, adding many cybersecurity and identity management tools.

Ideally, you’ll plan your IT growth to avoid overbuying capacity too soon and underbuying infrastructure that will require replacement right away.

IT disruptions come in all sizes. The big ones get all the attention, but it’s the small ones that usually do the most ongoing harm.

Small IT disruptions are things like power outages, third-party service outages, website problems and VoIP system crashes.

Twenty minutes here, an hour there.

Not massive, but big enough to cause some level of downtime and lost data.

Over time, recurring small disruptions can equate to major productivity hits, all while businesses tolerate the losses because individually they were too small to bother with.
