A lot of small businesses think social media isn’t working because they aren’t posting enough.
Usually, that’s not the problem.
You can post every single day and still get nowhere if nobody knows **who you are, what you do, or why they should care.**
Social media growth starts with a few basics:
🎯 Know who you're trying to reach.
🔥 Create content worth stopping for.
💬 Actually TALK to people instead of posting and disappearing.
🧠 Keep your message, look and voice consistent.
And here’s the one I’d add to the list:
**Stop trying to talk to everybody.**
The goal isn't 100,000 random followers.
For a local business, I'd rather have 1,000 people who live in the area, know the brand, interact with the content and might actually become customers.
For an online business, I'd rather build an audience around the exact problem that business solves.
**Followers are a number.
The right audience is an asset.**
