If your systems went down tomorrow, how long would it take you to get back up and running?
October 13th is the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, a United Nations observance all about building resilience before disaster strikes. For a business, that usually comes down to how ready you are before something goes wrong.

The businesses that recover fastest are the ones with a tested backup and disaster recovery plan already in place.

Ever notice how a single tech hiccup can throw off your entire day? October 10th is World Mental Health Day, and it’s a good reminder that a lot of workplace stress comes from small stuff like this.

Little everyday frustrations add up fast over a workday. Proactive IT support catches them early, so your team spends less time wrestling with tech and more time getting things done.

Have you ever wondered who wrote the first computer program? A woman named Ada Lovelace did, back in the 1840s, decades before computers as we know them existed.

She worked alongside Charles Babbage and wrote what’s now considered the first algorithm meant to run on a machine. That kind of curiosity and problem-solving is still what the entire tech industry runs on today, almost two centuries later.

October 13th is Ada Lovelace Day, and we love celebrating people who ask “what if” before anyone else does.

What a stretch it's been for the Bmore Technology team! 🧡🏈

We were proud to sponsor the Orange Crush station at the TEI Electrical Solutions charity golf event, and to support the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company at their Fields of Fire event. Both are great causes, and both were a lot of fun.

Our teammates from South Carolina and Tennessee were in town too, so we made time for some team building. First we went to Dave & Buster's for some friendly competition. That clearly wasn't enough, so we sent the team to the 's Famous Seafood and then to the Baltimore Ravens game.

Being in the community and spending time together as a team is a big part of what makes Bmore, Bmore. Thanks to everyone who came out!

Is there a more perfect time than Cybersecurity Awareness Month to check whether your team’s basics are holding up?

KnowBe4's 2026 benchmarking report found that about one in three employees will click on a phishing attempt before receiving any training. A year of consistent security awareness training cut that risk by nearly 80%.
The good news is that strong passwords and multi-factor authentication close most of that gap, and spotting a fake message covers the rest.

See how our cybersecurity services help build those habits across your whole team: https://visit-our.link/r9AOPz4

Five years after a job finishes, you may still need the drawings, change orders, or inspection records. If those files are sitting in old accounts or scattered across devices, finding the right version later can be difficult.

A proper backup and retention process keeps completed project data easier to retrieve.

When a project wraps, access can be easily overlooked.

Contractors and vendors may still be able to access shared drives or project platforms long after their work is done. Making an access review part of closeout helps shut down old logins before they become a risk.

Big news from the Bmore team — we have been named to the Baltimore Business Journal's 2026 Fast 50, the list of the 50 fastest-growing private companies in the Baltimore area.

Bmore started back in 2004 with two guys who met supporting the Army and decided to build something of their own. Today we are 18 people across Maryland and South Carolina, taking care of businesses that need their technology to simply work.

To every client who has called us, trusted us, and stuck with us through the years — this one belongs to you too. Thank you.

The final rankings get revealed at the Fast 50 and Fire Awards on November 10 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. Congratulations to every company on the list.
