Cathy F calls this quilt “Christmas Relic”. It has been nearly twenty eight years in the making! Time to wrap up the works in progress. The surprising thing is that the fabrics still feel current. The green is timeless and the spot of aqua makes it pop. We added a holly and ribbon pantograph to tie it all together along with a soft gold thread.

I’ve always loved a maple leaf quilt and Milena’s rendition did not disappoint. The fabric in each leaf is distinctive and combined it makes a beautiful portrayal of autumn. I chose a maple leaf and ribbon design to pull it all together 🍁

They live in Thailand and are part of our chosen family. That must make me a chosen Bomma. Not to be confused with the official grandparents who are over the moon with their first grandchild. Another generation accounted for🎈
