I always want my clients to have peace of mind when it comes to the design decisions for their dream spaces.

That’s why today, I met with my client and the cabinet vendor so my client could take an in person look at the cabinet door samples in the colors I specced for the project along with the countertop option I had in mind.

Viewing options online is a great place to start, but screen resolutions, the lighting when product photos were taken, and photo editing can all affect how true to life the listing photo really is when viewing online.

We brought the flooring sample and the paint sample in to ensure that everything will look perfect together.

Now we wait. The contractor is working on the renovations and the cabinet and countertop selections are finalized. ☺️

POV: the bay window in your kitchen is your designated spot to enjoy your morning coffee and admire the view. 😍

While some may think it odd to add accent lounge seating to their kitchen, there’s no denying that the kitchen is the heart of the home. So, why not create a comfy, cozy space for sitting back to enjoy your morning coffee or to allow guests to comfortably sit and talk with you while you cook?

This kitchen lounge is also a great addition to this space since the living room is in the basement and not the main floor where the kitchen is. ✨

Rainy days call for bright, yet cozy spaces. Where in your house do you like to spend your rainy days at home?

My ideal place would be in a cozy chair reading, playing a game or making art. The window would be slightly opened to allow the sound of the rain to fill the space. This cozy setting is a goal for our new house. ☺️

Furnishing a space, let alone an entire house, can be a daunting task for a homeowner.

When you go to your bedroom, is it the place of retreat that you imagined? Or is it no longer welcoming for you and has instead turned into the family catch-all? Do you avoid the room until bedtime because it’s exhausting to look at?

Your bedroom doesn’t have to be a space that you dread seeing and shudder when you think a guest might accidentally see the nightmare inside of the door is ever left ajar. It doesn’t have to cause you so much frustration and cost you your piece of mind.

On average 7-10 hours of your time is spent in your bedroom. You have a vision of how you want it to look and feel, but you don’t know where to even begin.
