Sometimes mistakes are made, but luckily it's nothing Tyler's PC Repair can't fix! 👌

🤓 details: While removing a RAM module on this PS4, one pad came up with it. Pictured here is a copper wire about 3mm long and the width of a human hair coiled into a replacement pad and then soldered to the point where the old pad originally connected. To ensure it doesn't move around while reinstalling the RAM module, it is secure with some UV solder mask.

This HP All-In-One had a Secure Boot Signature Violation error on boot. Luckily Tyler's PC Repair has the knowledge to fix it! After some tweaks and a BIOS update, secure boot is working like it should, and the computer is back to working condition!

Last week I put a ton of time into a PS4, and am at the excruciating stage of waiting for parts from China. Hopefully this RAM chip (cold one in thermal pic) is the issue, and it doesn't turn out to be an APU issue!

Pictured is the process of reading, validating, and rewriting base firmware to enable hardware level error reading. This allowed me to see that it wasn't reading one of the memory banks.

TVs are pretty simple devices, and more worth fixing the larger and more feature-rich they are. This one has a damaged power supply board due to what looks to be liquid damage. Replacing the blown component should get it going again!
