We will be offering 2 part drop in kits for JL Audio 13W7 and 13W7AE for customers that have lead wire damage. This solution uses a spider with sewn on leads.
This kit will be assembled in 2 parts. The upper cone assembly consisting of the cone, cone collar, foam surround and dust cap. And the lower assembly consisting of the coil, spider and coil collar.
This kit will also come with the proper coil shim and epoxy needed to install this kit. You will have the option after you install to either use direct leads or reuse your factory terminal plates for your connections.

Kit will cost $550.00 plus shipping.

There has been tons of requests for 12W6v2 replacement dust caps. We will have them in the future but for now here is a solution.

Here is an adapter for a 12W6v2 cone to allow the installation of a 12W7 dust cap.
This adapter has a lip just like the original 12W6v2 dust cap had to align the foam surround.
