When summer and fall come around, I spend a lot of time on senior and family portraits... but I also keep busy with many other projects. Here are some books and journals I've designed and formatted for publishing recently.

Phil Sipos is a local author who published the book "Bernie Seeking Elton." His book is a collection of songs he wrote... and just like Bernie Taupin, he is seeking his Elton John to add music to the songs he wrote. I formatted the interior of his book to start... through which, we built a relationship and I went on to design a new website, create a new logo, design his new email signature and create marketing materials (bookmark, poster, business card) for him to use as he shares his new book with the world. Another author, Elizabeth Cramer, needed me to design the interiors and covers for four different journals (two female and two male) she needed to go along with the book she wrote, which will sold at major book retailers but will also be used for speaking engagements she is hired for. After designing her journals, she asked me to update the book cover for the book she is publishing so they were more closely aligned.

I absolutely love doing family photos... seeing how everyone interacts and hearing fun stories. Thank you to the Keith family for letting me capture your family. We had a most perfect fall day to torture the kids with "oh, we should try this!" ❤️

I had such a fun time with this senior from Waukesha West, Nate, and his mom and cockatoo, Marshmello (Melly). We had a perfect fall day in downtown Waukesha for his pictures. Wishing you the best of luck the rest of your senior year and your future endeavors, Nate!

Designed this vinyl door sign and did a surprise install this morning before the owner, Dani, got to the shop. Now her business is “official-official.”

Rayan, a senior at Waukesha North, was such a great kid to do pictures with. He showed up with the biggest smile and was so interesting to chat with. I hope you have a great senior year and best of luck at LaCrosse next year!

I was so excited for the day I got to take Aiden’s senior pics. I’ve known him since he was in elementary school and have loved seeing him grow into the fun and hilarious guy he is today. Our shoot was filled with laughs and his uncanny imitations of various characters. I can’t wait to see you go out and do great things!

Clayton is a Senior at Waukesha North and used to play baseball with my son when they were probably around 10/11 years old… which didn’t seem all that long ago until I saw this grown man when we met for pics! Good luck with your Senior year and football season, Clay!
