Never got around to building a website? Now there is no reason to keep putting it off.

Coming soon: every vendor on Source It Local will be able to build their own page, right on the platform, to showcase their products or services. It is an optional feature that you can use only if you find it useful. Plus, there is not separate domain or hosting account to manage. Your webpage is tied to the profile you already have under sourceitlocal.co.

More details coming soon.

Every Honor Box starts as a real decommissioned military ammunition can ends as a personal tribute build around one veteran's story. Founded by Shawn Bertholf and retired Army Rangers Robert "Scotty" Scott, 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝘅 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘀 walks families through an in-depth consultation, a collaborative design process and a build with progress updates along the way, before shipping the finished piece directly to them.

It's recognition that goes further than a ceremony, something built to be carried forward for generations. Find Honor Box Studios on Source It Local: https://sourceitlocal.co/services/honor-box-studios | [email protected] | (256) 654-0300

Most local search results show you whoever paid the most to beat the top, not who's actually closest to you. Source It Local flips that: when you search for a plumber, stylist, landscaper or contractor, you see who's actually near you first.

One you find them, you can see their availability and book directly. No separate calendar app, payment like and no waiting on a text back.

For service-based businesses, that means on place to be found and booked.

Search Local. Book Local.

There's a two week wait between the moment a custom Smoking Embers candle is poured and the moment it's ready to burn. That's not a delay, that's the process. Based in Jesup, Iowa, Smoking Embers Candle Co. hand-pours every candle in small batches, takes on custom orders for one-of-a-kind scents and designs, and also makes wax melts and handmade candle holders in partnership with other local small businesses.

This week's spotlight is on the kind of care you can't rush. Find Smoking Embers on their Source It Local vendor page and give them a follow: https://sourceitlocal.co/vendor/smoking-embers-candles

Allow me to reintroduce myself. Hi, I'm Phil and this is Source It Local.

Source It Local is built for the independent businesses and nonprofits that make our communities feel like home. We help them get found, get booked and grow

We're also proud of something bigger: a give-back program where vendors can support a local nonprofit they believe in and SitL matches that contribution. Plus verified nonprofits, including veterans' organizations, get full access to the platform for free.

When local businesses thrive, the whole community feels it.

We're just getting started, follow along and share this with someone who should know about us.
