While traveling this past weekend, and my media transfer is really focused on digitizing analog media for portability and/or perseveration, one word came to mind - mixtapes.
The 80s were a wild time of partying and romance. That special tape you made for your 'boo' when things seemed on the rocks.
The wild late 90s/early 2000's when Napster and Limewire gave you full and unfettered access to every song at the time and used your parent's computer to burn audio CDs.
Also, in the 80s, home taping was all the rage and the occasional home movie. Remember America's Funniest Videos? VHS was at the peak.
And we cannot forget those 'sketchy flea market DVDs'? :)
Well, if you provide the media (audio files), I'll make you a cassette.
If you like, I can also burn audio CDs like the late 90s.
Any and all current video files (iPhones, pocket cameras, TikTok downloads, expertly rendered on a VHS tape or DVD.
The VHS retro nerd culture is alive and well. Blockbuster style 'man caves' and clubs (coffee shops). And tapes/ (walkmans) are highly sought after. And CDs - many are enjoying the physical experience that our parents enjoyed while consuming entertainment media.
If this sounds like something you would like, please let me know.
Make Analog Great Again :)
and... Let me copy that for you....
