Happy Yorkshire Day! Blogged a little on demographics -- Gen X and Vic 20.

I was in the Home Computer Club that ran out of a pub in the early '80s and buying magazines like Byte (and way too many Walkers' Chips) from the newsagents.

Amazing how much we all learned from those US magazines, Apple ][, TRS80, Vic20, ZX81, C64, Spectrum etc. World Wide Web was still a decade away! I get to see it all over again all these days on car "CAN buses."

Was fun to catch the latest episode of Futurama 12.1. I liked all the computer science references like storing numbers in beads on strings, factorization, and solving the traveling salesman problem (TSP).

I first came across the TSP decades ago and most recently saw someone claiming to solve it with one Qubit.
