A tale of two cities! I had a blast hanging out with bowlers and educators at these amazing conferences.

Two different audiences but it goes to show that Canva is becoming the go-to tool for anyone creating visual communications. Whether it’s a flyer with a QR Code or a lesson plan for 5th graders, the world is visual and Canva is at the center!

If you’ve ever wanted to select multiple elements in a design so you could move them around, this tip is for you. Simply tap and HOLD the text block or element and then choose “select multiple”. Then you’ll be able to tap multiple items in your design and move them around together.

Playing with Canva text animations for lyric videos. My email list already knows I call my business a MULLET 😜 Business in the front, party in the back. Or maybe it’s a reverse mullet? Party in the front? Business in the back?

I love to take care of business but WE GOTS TA have fun while doing it!

4 years ago, slid into my DMs to chat about doing a collab post. We vibed immediately. (She’s a die hard Canva fan so obviously we were going to be friends.)

Fast forward to 2024 and she asks “hey you have anything booked for June 1st? Dying to have you at this event I’m running.”

That was the first AthleteCon.

Last year, at AthleteCon 2.0, I stood in front of the room and told the athletes to pause and take in that moment. Because we were all witnessing history being made with what Sam was building in the NIL space.

This year at AthleteCon 3.0 the event had 500 people.

My session was on using Canva to build your brand system from the ground up. Brand kits, media kits, public view links, analytics, and I shared my own story about how I’ve used Canva to power my content and storytelling.

Sam makes sure no athlete wastes the opportunity in front of them. The athletes aren’t just attendees to her. She LOVES them, and they love her.

So proud of you, Sam! And I can’t wait for .con 4.0 🥰
