I know I’ve been spamming studio posts lately, but we’re not done yet. 😂

Part of me wanted to wait until the next update video comes out, but I’m honestly too excited not to share.

We now have the flooring in, the drywall is up thanks to Higher Standards Flooring & Tile, and the interior has been painted. Nicholas Electrical Company is wrapping up the electrical work, and they’ve done an incredible job throughout this entire project.

It’s crazy to think that we’re getting very close to actually being able to record content in this space.

There’s still some work to do. We need to finish the exterior siding, and there are a few pieces of equipment I’ll need before launching the podcast, but we’re so on track and I’m beyond excited about it.

What started as a 15-year-old shed is turning into something I could have only dreamed of a few years ago. I already think it looks awesome, and it’s not even furnished yet.

Thank you to everyone who’s helped, supported, sponsored, shared posts, or simply cheered this project on. It genuinely means a lot.

Update video coming soon.

I always enjoy filming with Mr. Drew and His Animals Too.

The staff are incredibly welcoming, the environment is fun and relaxed, and you can genuinely tell how much passion everyone has for the animals and for educating the community. Every visit feels less like a business and more like spending time with people who truly care about what they’re building.

If you’re looking for an affordable family outing this summer, I definitely recommend checking them out. Between the rescued animals, educational experiences, and interactive activities, it’s a really unique place for kids and adults alike.

They’re located in Poland, Maine, and absolutely worth the visit.

Did you know that Tuesdays are now “Pay What You Can” days at Mr. Drew and His Animals Too?

Right now, everything is expensive. Gas, groceries, bills — sometimes even just getting out of the house with the family can be difficult to budget for.

That’s why Mr. Drew’s decided to do something to help the community.

Every Tuesday, families can come experience the center, see the animals, enjoy the mine, and spend quality time together while paying whatever comfortably fits their budget.

The goal is simple: make sure more families and kids have the chance to experience something special, no matter their financial situation.

So if you’ve been wanting to visit, Tuesdays are the perfect time to stop by and make some memories together.

Yesterday I had the coolest workday ever filming at Poland Springs resort. I’m so excited that I’ll be filming there a lot this season and hopefully more seasons to come. The owner gave me a golf cart and basically said go for it lol it was a lot of fun and I got to meet a lot of awesome people.

Wow… this project has been moving fast.

Here’s Part 3 of the studio build.

As most of you know by now, this project has become way bigger than just me. So many people and local businesses have stepped in to help by donating time, offering discounts, trading work, or just supporting the vision in general.

The siding is officially underway thanks to Nate at Higher Standards Flooring & Tile , and it’s honestly looking so good already.

We also had insulation installed by Apollo Insulation LLC , which was a HUGE step toward actually getting this studio operational.

On top of that, I now have 3 out of the 4 interior walls installed. At this point, what’s left is drywall, flooring, final electrical hookup, and finishing the exterior.

It’s wild seeing this thing slowly turn from an idea into a real creative space.

Thank you all so much for the kind messages, encouragement, and support throughout this process. It’s also been really exciting hearing how many people already have interest in using the space for podcasts, creative projects, and other content once it’s finished.

More to come soon.

I wanted to give a huge shoutout to Higher Standards Flooring & Tile and my friend Nate.

Nate has been a friend of mine for many years, and lately he’s been helping me tremendously with the studio build by installing the exterior siding at an incredibly affordable price. The siding itself came from Mann's Lumber & Tree, and seeing it all finally start coming together has been such an awesome feeling.

Truthfully, I wouldn’t be able to make this project happen the way I am without people like Nate stepping in and helping make it possible.

What makes this even cooler to me is that Nate recently decided to take the leap and start his own entrepreneurial journey. Anyone who knows him knows he’s hardworking, detail-oriented, honest, and genuinely cares about doing good work.

So if you could, go give his page a follow and keep him in mind if you or someone you know needs flooring, tile work, remodeling, or general contracting help. I’d really love to help support him the same way he’s been supporting me through this project.

Building something on your own is scary, but seeing people around you chase their goals is honestly inspiring.

Studio Build – Part 2

This project keeps growing, and so does the list of people making it possible.

We had the ceiling painted thanks to Mike over at Top Gear Auto Care , which completely changed the feel of the space.

The siding has been cut and delivered by Mann's Lumber & Tree , and some of it has already been installed by my brother Scott and Brandon at Catlins All Year Round

Some of the building materials for this project were generously donated by Percy's Hardware Company, and all of the electrical work has been run by Nicholas Electrical Company.

It’s honestly wild to see this come together the way it has. What started as a solo project has quickly turned into something much bigger—a true community effort.

We’re still just getting started, but this is already becoming something special.
More to come soon.

I wanted to take a second to talk about the studio build and honestly just say thank you.
When I started this project, the plan was simple—chip away at it over time and build it piece by piece. I fully expected it to take a while.
But somewhere along the way, something pretty cool started happening.
People started reaching out. Business owners wanted to be part of it. Not just offering discounts or services—but actually wanting to be involved in the journey.
So instead of treating it like one-off help, I decided to turn it into something bigger—more like sponsorships and trade partnerships.
So far, I’ve traded work for siding, have insulation coming soon, and potentially more in the works. I’ve had electrical work donated, help getting siding up, ceilings painted, and even materials donated from Percy's Hardware.
I truly didn’t expect this. And I don’t take it lightly.
This has turned into a community project in the best way possible, and I feel incredibly lucky to be in a position where people actually want to be part of what I’m building.
So I want to open the door a bit more.
I’m not a massive influencer. I don’t pull millions of views. But what I can offer is something real. Everyone who gets involved—whether through sponsorship or trade—will be featured on a dedicated studio page on my website. I’m also planning to have a banner outside the studio recognizing the businesses that helped make this possible.
It’s a small way to give back, but it means a lot to me to make sure the people who helped are part of the story.
If you’re a business and you’d like to be involved in any way, feel free to reach out. I’d love to talk and see what we can create together.
Thank you all—seriously.

With the studio finally starting to come together, it’s got me thinking a lot about what I actually want to use this space for.

For a long time now, I’ve had an idea for a podcast called “Why the F Did I Start a Business?” — and I think I’m finally in a place where I can bring it back.

It’s really just honest conversations with business owners. Not the polished version you usually see… just real talk about the ups, the downs, what worked, what didn’t, and everything in between.

I’ve been lucky enough to work with so many small businesses, and one thing I’ve noticed is how different every story is. Some people thrive in it, some people struggle through it, and for some it’s not the answer at all — but every single one of them has put a ton of time and energy into something that matters to them.

That’s what I want to capture.

Local Legends has been amazing for working with nonprofits and helping them get exposure — this feels like a different side of things. More about the people behind the businesses and the reality of what it takes.

So I guess this is me just putting it out there…
If you’d ever want to sit down and talk about your experience, I’d love to have you on.

Still a little bit of work left on the studio, but once it’s ready I’ll start figuring out recording times.

Appreciate you all.

Today was a big step for the studio.

Nick, the owner of Nicholas Electrical, and his brother-in-law Camden came in and roughed in all of the wiring. Watching this project come together piece by piece has been incredible.

What’s even crazier is they’re doing this completely out of kindness — donating their time and materials just to help me bring this to life.

I can’t say enough good things about this company. The values, the integrity, and the way they treat people… it’s something you don’t see every day.

Huge thank you to Nicholas Electrical Company — this project wouldn’t be what it is without people like you.

Update video coming soon.
