So therefore, I'm tired of the letters, the people coming by.... I can turn it all off at one site! Update your "privacy preferences" at their site IMMEDIATELY and watch the mail stop!

When you get a LEGITIMATE text message from ANY company, save that 4-6 digit number in your phone as a contact using only the business field. Now, you can mute that contact's notifications if it's a sales-related service or at least identify this kind of phishing attempt!

I've never even logged onto the silly service, it smelled of vice-grabbing "viral challenge" clickbait and I KNEW the product was you... If you cannot take what they're selling away from the presentation, then what they are selling, is YOU. TikTok is more than just a time-waster of a rabbit hole, it directly sends your clipboard contents back to them, web searches, more than you want, and more than Apple and Google allow. That's why the FCC's chairman is asking them to take it down, and I'd suggest you do the same thing.

"I can fix anything, I know Robbie!" - Those were the words my previous boss said to a customer of ours, and I'm learning everyday how true those words are. I took on a new challenge today, I accepted and fixed a German Black Forest clock. It just stopped running, sight unseen. Can you spot the problem? I did, and immediately set about fixing, cleaning and lubricating this beautiful clock! There is literally nothing that I will not attempt to repair, as long as the cost to fix is less than a similar one. Don't hesitate to call me, my clients discover daily the breadth of my knowledge! If you have a clock that doesn't tick, be it piezoelectric in the computer, or mechanical in your grandmother's clock, I'll take an honest and fair look at it!

If you remember from a previous post, Generative Adversarial Networks are a recent development using high-end graphics cards to create a gazillion possible iterations of a dataset, (pictures of people for instance) and compare those against each other trying to disprove the other's reality until the group comes up with something that none of them can dispute. Type www. Thispersondoesnotexist .com into a web-browser to see a totally-instant-computer-generated person that indeed, does NOT exist.

But what if, instead of photos of faces, you fed this GAN network the information so far gathered by geneticists and pharmacologists and let it design drugs to cure specific diseases?

Some things I do purely for the love of my child. Spending the last 4 hours cutting wire and LED's, wiring up lights, measuring and producing a full set of decals, all because our good friend has recently purchased her kids two new scooters. One got an LOL Surprise doll scooter, and the other got a rather cool LED light-up scooter. Naturally, my daughter wanted a light-up LOL scooter.... Well, I can guarantee nobody has one like this!

Weekends never go as planned...🙄

After a load of laundry on Wednesday, the washer made a hissing sound, and was slowly leaking water into the tub. I turned off the cold water and the noise stopped. We limped that along until Saturday. After a load of laundry, there was water on the ground.

Pulled the washer out, found the model number, looked up the part, 65 or 100, either way, days out... No loss in trying! Pulled the magneto-servos off, removed the caps, keeping the pins and springs safely inside, and carefully removed the diaphrams. Cleaned them under warm water with Dawn dish soap until black rubber stopped coming off onto my fingers, replaced all the parts, and Vōila! It works without leaking, and now shuts off when it's finished like it used to!

Think of me next time your appliances take a dive, I'm good at resurfacing them! Also, if I don't fix it, I don't charge!!
