Ever added a custom page section background and it just... didn’t show up? 👀
I know why: every page section is actually built from 3 stacked layers: background, border, and content wrapper.
If the higher layers aren’t transparent, your custom coded creation is sitting right there, hidden underneath it.
This is the exact kind of detail that trips people up when they’re vibe coding for Squarespace. AI can write you a gradient section background in two seconds, but it doesn’t know Squarespace’s structure well enough to tell you where it’s hiding.
That’s a knowledge gap Beyond the Basics can close.
