That would have been fun to watch.

Tron competition at Madison Square Garden from 1982!

This seems like a totally normal number of bags of chips to include in a box.

I signed up to reserve my name/account on TikTok when it first came out, but never used it. A few days ago, I decided to make a TikTok for my Doing Des Moines project. Turns out, while they do have a way to register by e-mail, they require a phone #. If you want multiple TikToks, you need multiple phone . This is for security. So for security, they suggest getting a number from "a family member of friend" -- how is that security if your key is not controlled by you? Ridiculous.

Leaning lots about the algos. Now that I am getting actual money (like, $238 expected from September) on one of my pages, I see how doomed we are. With a video that has been "watched" 5000 times, most folks barely made it a few seconds into the video before moving on. But hey, 3 seconds counts ;-)

If I am in the top 10% of contributors on Google Maps, that just tells me folks don't contribute to Google Maps much.

The Power of ASMR is real. I started a TikTok (yeah, I know) for two of my pages (the two that have been making money recently) and... of course, the algo pushes out the 15 second video of rice being scraped into a plate. Zero content. Just rice. I really think this is a kink. But if it can make me some money . . .

So many showings of Rocky Horror Pocture Show, but none of the sequel, Shock Treatment? So sad.

I am going to try to NOT post about Atlas9 in Kansas City today. Instead, here's a photo of my work development system. You can see the touch screen PLC and all the I/O modules wired up to a microcontroller that interfaces them to our high power solid state microwave systems. The basic generator (the simple "desktop" model) has three independent processor boards maintaining power and monitoring for any fault conditions. As the system scales up (say, 50,000 watts), the board count increases to 28 circuit boards all in communication with a "master control" system. Quite the tech. Oh, and there's an Arduino, but that is not work related.

And the Amiga replica is shipping soon. Crazy times.

How many Amigas were sold?
