It’s been almost a year since we launched QuadPro and QuadMini, and the response to our two new antennas has been incredible.

But we’ve also been working hard on new antennas: and we’re excited to launch our most powerful antenna yet: DualPlus. DualPlus is a 2x2 log periodic antenna, which means you need two for every TMHI gateway. To serve that need, we’ve just launched DualPlus Duo: a bundle that includes two DualPlus antennas in a 4x4 MIMO setup.

What Makes DualPlus Duo Special?

DualPlus Duo includes many of the accessories that made QuadPro and QuadMini so much easier to install than our previous-generation antennas, including our Window Entry Cable for simple, drill-free cable routing, UltraFlex Quad cables for flexible, modular cable extensions, and FlexMount for easy mounting and aiming.

But what sets DualPlus Duo apart is its unmatched RF performance:

DualPlus has exceptional directionality - it does an excellent job of rejecting signal from the sides and back, focusing power into a narrow, precise beam.

It has very consistent gain (6.5–8.9 dBi) across all 4G and 5G low- and mid-bands (600-6000 MHz). While the peak gain is similar to QuadPro, the average gain across all the frequencies it serves is much higher, particularly in the exact direction that it’s pointed.

This combination of consistently high gain and directionality means you can expect meaningful improvements in SINR and data speeds - even compared to QuadPro.

DualPlus boosts 4G LTE and 5G speeds across AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile, and is compatible with almost any gateway, modem or router. It’s built for 2x2 MIMO devices, but two DualPlus’s can be used together for 4x4 MIMO setups.

What if my tower isn’t in a direct line of sight? No problem! DualPlus performs well even in less-than-ideal conditions. Line of sight makes aiming easier, but it’s not required for great performance
Can I use this with a 4-port gateway? Absolutely! For 4x4 MIMO setups, just pair two DualPlus antennas to connect to all 4 ports of your device..
Should I upgrade from my current 2x2 antenna? If you’re satisfied with your current setup, there’s no rush to upgrade. But if you’re looking for a sleeker install, DualPlus is worth considering.

For the last year our product team at Waveform has been working on an all-new line of antennas, and today is the day where we finally get to share what we’ve been working on 🎉.

When we asked for feedback on our existing 4x4 antennas, there were two things that jumped out: people wanted a cheaper option, and they wanted the installation to be simpler.

We really focused on these two requests with this new generation of antennas and accessories.

QuadMini
QuadMini is an all-new, low-profile, omnidirectional antenna.
It comes with 4 mounting options and is usable indoors or outdoors, and at home or in RVs.
The kit includes our new Window Entry Cable and UltraFlex Quad cabling (see below).
Since it’s omnidirectional there’s no aiming involved.
The antenna alone is $120 or the full kit is $220.

QuadPro
QuadPro is an update to our extremely popular 4x4 panel.
It’s highly directional and will get you the very best performance.
The kit includes our new Window Entry Cable and UltraFlex Quad cabling (see below).
We designed an all-new Flexmount that removes the need for a j-mount and makes aiming QuadPro much easier.

Window Entry Cable
People wanted an easier way to run cables outdoors, so we designed an adapter that allows you to run cable through almost any window.
The four cables become a thin, ultra-flexible strip.
The Window Entry Cable comes included with all our antenna kits going forward.

UltraFlex Quad Cables
Some of the feedback we received was that our old cabling was too thick, weatherproofing the connections was too hard, needed customizable lengths, and that people didn’t like the black color.
Our all-new quad cables are thinner, all-white, and far more flexible.
We include integrated weatherproofing boots on all connectors.
Our new UltraFlex cables are now modular 10 ft and 20 ft lengths with SMA connectors that can be combined together to make almost any length cable.

A few quick notes:
QuadPro is a better choice if you want the very best data rates or are on the edges of cell coverage. QuadMini is the right choice if you want a quick and super simple install.
If you’ve already got our 4x4 panel installed and aimed, and you’re getting good results, it’s probably not worth the upgrade to the QuadPro as their performance is similar.
If you buy our antennas, it’s best to put them outdoors or at least in your attic. Putting them right next to your gateway won’t have much of an impact.

We’re really excited about this second generation of antennas. We really tried hard to make them as easy as possible to use and install. Can’t wait to hear your feedback!
