Another article gone wrong. Some concepts are right …but they labeling platforms all wrong.

1️⃣. Oculus Rooms wasn’t cartoonish ➖ The author should have stated “Facebook Spaces”

2️⃣. Horizon Venues isn’t a social world building communities➡️➡️➡️ Horizon Worlds is

3️⃣. Reports of groping were in AltspaceVR and Horizon Venues

There is so much incorrect info here, it dismantles any story line that’s being written.

⚡️💪🏽there is always work to be done when technology evolves —especially in the next computing platform —but if journalists want to make a difference they should get the facts…or at least get the platforms right.

Yes, it’s still early days for the immersive virtual world. But that’s precisely the problem.

Meta Horizon Worlds on the Go!

Zuckerberg told investors Meta plans to launch "a version of Horizon on mobile" this year, explaining that while "the deepest and most immersive experiences" in the metaverse will be in VR, "you’re also going to be able to access the worlds from your Facebook or Instagram apps as well".
