When I get to work on phones from other shops there is always fun surprises but also some common issues; steps skipped and shortcuts taken. Take a look and tell me if you notice anything wrong with these pictures. Would you be happy if someone was this careless with your expensive phone?

1: Missing adhesive, old adhesive still there or multiple layers of adhesive. It creates an uneven surface for screen to adhere to. No adhesive increases likelihood of damage from drops and the likelihood of liquid intrusion also becomes an issue. I am no factory machine but I put in the effort, clean the frame and apply new adhesive every time.

2: I don’t leave packing inside the phone, the yellow plastic, which only prevents heat from escaping and may cause performance loss due to throttling down processing speeds to control internal temperatures.

3: Missing sensors and screws in the wrong place can cause functional issues and even destroy your motherboard. Most shops do not have attention to detail and even little nuances can desstroy these phones. Usually they take no responsibility and you have to foot the bill.

4: I also look for missing sensors and damages rendered by unskilled technicians and provide you a report and evidence to get back some of your money if your device was damaged.
