Today we're launching OneDose Narcotics: controlled substance tracking built right where the dose is documented.

When a medic gives a controlled substance in OneDose, the administration record is written from the dose they just confirmed. The waste opens already filled in and is witnessed. Restocking is one eMACC scan of the vial.

Every entry lands on one ledger in the OneDose Admin Console: a live count for every kit, one review queue for anything that doesn't balance, and the Form 106 worksheet, destruction log and biennial inventory ready when an inspector asks.

Built around the DEA's EMS recordkeeping rule. Nothing to re-enter.

EMS World was a blast.

Great to see clients, partners, and a lot of new faces at the booth. Thank you to everyone who stopped by. The conversations were the highlight of the week.

We also gave a sneak peek at what's next. Two new products are coming soon, and the reaction was incredible.

4,000+ EMS agencies across 40+ states, and we're just getting started.

Missed us? Send a message and we'll show you what's coming.

Since March 9, the DEA's recordkeeping rule for EMS agencies has spelled out what every controlled substance dose needs on the record, including the drug, the amount given, the amount wasted and how, who gave it, and who authorized it. Most states add a witness to the waste.

Most agencies still meet it by asking medics to write down after the call what they already did during it.

Your narcotics log shouldn't be written twice. OneDose Narcotics launches Thursday, October 15.

Pick a space. Everything beneath it follows.

That's the admin side of OneDose's newest product, Spaces. At the top of the OneDose console, you now choose which library you're working in. Folders, Database, Notifications, Archive, Protocol Sets, and Review all redraw against that space. Switch to Standard Operating Procedures and the Review queue shows only SOP reviews. Nothing about your clinical content moves.

Each space carries its own audience. Keep it private, share it with every agency in your organization, or share it with only the ones you name.

Same folders, same draft-and-publish, same review your admins already know. Nothing new to learn. All enabled with the AI Assistant.

Spaces is available now. Contact your OneDose representative for pricing, or read the announcement: https://myonedose.com/spaces-launch/

See you in Orlando. OneDose is at EMS World Expo, September 29 to October 2, booth 410.

Stop by and put the platform in your hands: protocols, dosing, checklists, and documentation in one app your crews already have open, from dispatch to handoff.

You'll see two EMS World Innovation Award finalists:
- OneDose AI Assistant, which answers protocol and dosing questions grounded in your own documents.
- eMACC, which verifies the vial before the medication is given.

We'll also be demoing what's new this fall:
- Spaces. Your SOPs, operations guides, and training material live in OneDose alongside your protocols, each in its own library, shared with exactly the crews that should see it. Ask the Assistant a question of your SOPs alone, your protocols alone, or everything at once.
- Credentials. Provider certifications and expirations tracked inside the same console your admins already use.

Booth 410. Come meet the team!

Every credential in EMS gets typed into a system by hand at some point — usually by an administrator, for everybody, one certificate at a time.

OneDose Credentials removes that step. A provider photographs a certification from the OneDose app, and OneDose reads the document, matches it to the credential categories your administrators set up, and files it. Scan a stack at once if you have one. A person confirms every record before it's saved.

Administrators get one register of every credential their personnel hold, with the source document and full change history attached. Providers and directors both get regular reminders beginning 90 days before anything expires.

Now available, included with OneDose Premium at no additional cost. Learn more: www.myonedose.com

Your protocols have always lived in OneDose. Your SOPs, your fire ops guide, and your training material have lived in a shared drive nobody opens on a call.

Today we launched Spaces. Each body of knowledge gets its own library inside OneDose, with its own folders, its own audience, and the same draft-and-publish workflow your admins already know. Share a space with every agency in your organization or with only the ones you name. Clinical stays clinical.

Crews toggle which spaces are active. Ask the OneDose Assistant a question of your SOPs alone, your protocols alone, or everything at once, and the answer tells you which space it came from.

Spaces is available now. Contact your OneDose representative for pricing.

New data for anyone still managing EMS protocols on paper: only 21% of agencies use dedicated protocol-management software. The rest are running on printed binders or static PDFs.

We teamed up with JEMS - Emergency Medical Services to survey 114 EMS clinicians and leaders across 40 states for the 2026 EMS Protocol Survey, and the results say a lot about where the industry actually stands:

- 46% still rely on paper or static PDFs for protocols and dosing references
- Poor cell signal is the top friction point in the field (31%)
- Mental fatigue and burnout tied to protocol friction come in right behind it (31%)
- Only 16% of agencies can push a protocol change and have it confirmed live in the field that same day
- 19% can't say for certain their crews are carrying the current version at all

One quote from the survey stuck with us: "A protocol change usually happens because something clinical needed to change... Not being able to verify that the decision reached the field turns a clinical control into an open question."

That gap between when a protocol changes and when every provider actually has it is where the real risk lives.
