Lucas Everett made his arrival last night. Its been a whirlwind. Due to his distress during labor I had to have an emergency c-section. He needed a NICU treatment that the hospital wasnt capable of giving and was mediflighted to a Sacramento Children's Hospital. We are blessed with the fact I was able to transfer here with him for my postpartum recovery. I am in recovery til Sunday and then Ryan and I will be staying up here after to be close to him. The treatment he's undergoing is minimum 4 days and then they have to assess his ability to come home/ eat/ all the typical newborn things so there is no definite time to know when hell be coming home .
He is stableized and so they are monitoring and continuing the treatment plan and going from there. Its been scary, emotional, and obviously a lot. Thank you everyone who has reached out. We wanted to share our beautiful little blessing with everyone 💕
