With more and more big businesses coming into Tooele County, I think it's more important than ever that we shine a light on the small, locally owned businesses that make our community special.

We have some incredible mom-and-pop shops, restaurants, and hidden gems right here in our own backyard, and I guarantee there are plenty that people don't even know exist.

So I want to try something a little different.

I don't want you to just tag a local business. I want you to tell us WHY you love them.

Maybe it's the owner who remembers your name. Maybe it's the amazing customer service, a product you can't find anywhere else, or a business that has gone above and beyond for you.

Whatever it is, share it!

Because when you tell someone WHY you choose a business, you're giving someone else a reason to give them a chance.

Big businesses are going to continue coming into our community, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. But let's make sure the little guys aren't forgotten along the way.

So, who's a local business you think more people need to know about, and what makes them special?

🎉 ANOTHER LOCAL GIVEAWAY, TOOELE COUNTY!

We're teaming up with Lotus Nail Spa once again to give away another $25 gift card!

But this time, we're doing things a little differently.

We want to know: Who is someone in your life who deserves a little extra appreciation?

Maybe it's a hardworking parent, a friend who's been going through a tough time, a coworker who always goes above and beyond, or someone who is constantly putting others first.

Here's how to enter:

👇 Nominate someone in the comments and tell us why they deserve a little pampering!

We'll randomly select one nominee to receive a $25 gift card to Lotus Nail Spa right here in Tooele.

A few things to know:

You can nominate yourself, too!

Each person gets one entry, even if they're nominated multiple times.

The gift card goes to the person nominated, not the person making the nomination.

Even if someone doesn't win, sometimes just knowing they're appreciated can make their day.

A big thank you to Lotus Nail Spa for making another local giveaway possible!

Let's give some recognition to the people who make Tooele County a great place to call home!

📅 Winner announced Friday, October 23, at 6 PM!

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
