VW Buses only, no Vanagons. Take a picture and send it to who is playing. So when you see a bus! Yell Bus! Have fun!

Well 20 years ago today my wife and I drove up to Napa on our Honeymoon and noticed a lot of VW buses on the road, we owned a 1969 and so we start counting them, slowly crafting the rules as the week progressed. 79 Buses counted on that trip ending with the 2 buses parked in our driveway when we pulled up. Points only count if you are with someone usually, but the smartphone has changed things, we

now play cell phone Bus! I have been thinking about a iPhone app, but thought, why not setup a page on Facebook that we can send pictures too via phone. and say Game on!

Preston Martin figured the retro blue Volkswagen van he slept in for a year during college was a goner, given that he parked it in a Malibu neighborhood just before the Palisades fire ripped through, reducing homes and cars to rubble and charred metal.

So the surfboard maker was stunned to find that the vehicle survived. Not only that, a photo of the vibrant bus taken by an Associated Press photographer was circulating widely on television and online, giving viewers a measure of joy.

“There is magic in that van,” Martin, 24, said Tuesday in an interview with AP. “It makes no sense why this happened. It should have been toasted, but here we are.”
