Hi! It's me, Gracie! Your favorite Co-CEO! 🐾☕🎃

Today is National Coffee Day!

Now, I have a confession to make. Mommy and I don't really understand the whole coffee thing. We prefer treats, belly rubs, and naps. ☺️

But Daddy and Pixie? Oh my goodness. Those two practically run on coffee! I'm pretty sure if the coffee pot ever stopped working, Daddy's IT projects would come to a complete halt and Pixie's logistics department would declare a full-scale emergency. ☕😹

So while Mommy and I may politely decline a cup, we know a lot of our friends absolutely love their coffee. That's why we've been stocking up on all kinds of coffee-themed treasures!

☕ Coffee mugs
☕ Coffee shirts
☕ Coffee décor
☕ Coffee-themed gifts and collectibles

You can find coffee-loving treasures across all of our online stores, including ThriftyCavern.com, eBay, Mercari, Poshmark, and more. Links are in our bio!

🎃 Holiday Grotto Update! 🎃

The Holiday Grotto is now officially open on both ThriftyCavern.com and our eBay store! We've been busy loading Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other seasonal treasures to help you get ready for the holidays.

A quick reminder from your favorite Co-CEO: please order your Halloween items early!

The Cavern team will be taking some family time during the week of Halloween, so we will be closed for that week. We'll return on November 1st refreshed, recharged, and ready to help you celebrate the rest of the holiday season!

Until then, whether you're powered by coffee like Daddy and Pixie or powered by snacks and enthusiasm like me, we'd love for you to stop by and see what's new in the Cavern!

Tail wags, happy sniffs, and absolutely no coffee breath,
Gracie 🐾
Co-CEO, Chief Treat Inspector & Assistant Holiday Grotto Manager 🎃☕💕

Until next time...

🐾 Love, Gracie Co-CEO, Professional Hug Receiver, Future Radio Superstar, and Occasional IT Supervisor 💕🎙️✨

Hi! It's me ! Gracie! Your favorite Co-CEO!

Oh my biscuits, friends... this week has been a very exciting one in the Cavern!

Yesterday was Star Trek Day, and today is National Teddy Bear Day. That sounds like the perfect combination to me. One day you're boldly going where no pup has gone before, and the next day you're snuggling up with your favorite teddy bear for a well-deserved nap. 🚀🧸

As many of you know, I take my toy collection very seriously. In fact, I recently found a teddy bear I liked so much that I proudly carried it all through the Cavern! Mommey said I looked very pleased with myself. She was correct. 💖

If you're celebrating Star Trek Day, don't forget that we have Star Trek collectibles, movies, books, and other treasures available throughout our Thrifty Cavern storefronts. Whether you're a lifelong Trek fan or just beginning your journey among the stars, you never know what hidden treasure you might discover.

And for National Teddy Bear Day, we also have plush toys, teddy bears, and cuddly companions looking for new homes. Some are vintage, some are modern, but all of them are ready for their next adventure.

✨ Visit us at:
🛍️ ThriftyCavern.com
🛍️ Our eBay store
🛍️ Our Mercari store
🛍️ Our Poshmark store
🛍️ Our Whatnot store
🛍️ Our Vinted store

From starships to stuffed bears, there's always something waiting to be discovered in the Cavern.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have important business to attend to. Specifically, carrying a teddy bear around the store while pretending I'm captain of a starship.

Live long, prosper, and don't forget your teddy bear! 🐾🚀🧸

🧢 We labor on Labor Day!

While you're flipping burgers, we'll be flipping through racks.
While you're chilling by the grill, we're chilling prepping shipments.

📬 We'll be sorting and shipping while you BBQ. Deal?

Because honestly…
Is it a job when it’s a labor of love?

❤️🛍️ Come shop the treasures we’ve been hard at work prepping — because even on a holiday, the Cavern never sleeps.

📺 TCAV NEWS — Labor Day Logistics Update 📦🐾

Pixie here with an important holiday shipping bulletin.

Attention, shoppers! The Post Office will be closed on Monday in observance of Labor Day, which means USPS will not be processing or moving packages that day.

Now, before anyone starts reorganizing the shipping schedule in a panic...

🏔️ Thrifty Cavern will be OPEN!

While the Post Office takes a well-deserved holiday, our team will still be hard at work behind the scenes:
📦 Orders will be processed and packaged
📋 Shipping labels will be prepared
📦 Purchases will be organized and staged for pickup
🐾 Logistics operations will continue as normal

And as for our favorite delivery specialist...

🚚 Dasher is officially on standby and ready for deployment. The moment the Post Office reopens on Tuesday, he'll be racing those packages to their next destination.

I keep reminding him that logistics is about process, not speed.

He keeps pretending not to hear me.

So if you place an order over the holiday weekend, rest assured that we'll be getting everything ready and lined up for shipment. There may be a one-day delay in carrier movement due to the holiday, but we'll have your treasures prepared and waiting to go. 💙🐾

Today, we say goodbye to Tim Curry.

Some actors play characters.

Tim Curry became them.

He was terrifying. He was hilarious. He was charming. He was bizarre. Sometimes he was all four at once.

Across the Cavern, everyone remembers a different Tim Curry. Some remember midnight viewings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Some remember quoting Clue until everyone in the room groaned. Some still insist his Pennywise was the only one that ever truly frightened them. Others can't see Home Alone 2 without smiling when the concierge appears on screen.

What connected all of those performances was the same thing: Tim Curry never seemed afraid to be different.

He didn't make strange characters smaller so the world would accept them.

He made them larger.

Bolder.

More memorable.

And somehow, through all the makeup, costumes, accents, villains, heroes, and wonderfully odd personalities, he reminded us that there is value in embracing exactly who you are.

At Thrifty Cavern, we celebrate collectors, dreamers, movie lovers, music fans, cosplayers, treasure hunters, and people whose interests don't always fit neatly into a box.

Tim Curry spent a lifetime reminding us that the things that make us different are often the things that make us unforgettable.

Thank you for the laughs.

Thank you for the scares.

Thank you for the music, the performances, and the wonderfully weird memories.

Rest well, Tim.

The show was always brighter when you were in it.

❤️— Everyone at Thrifty Cavern

Today, the halls of Thrifty Cavern feel a little quieter.

Many of you visited us yesterday looking for a piece of Dolly Parton to remember her by. We are grateful that you trusted us to help you find that keepsake, and we understand why so many people felt the need to hold onto something that reminded them of her.

But if we're being honest, Dolly was never just merchandise to us.

She was a voice that brought people together.

In the Cavern, it never mattered whether someone loved country music or couldn't tell a banjo from a bass guitar. When Dolly came on the radio, the volume went up. If Steel Magnolias appeared on television, plans were canceled and it stayed on. Scout was always celebrated when he returned with Dolly treasures. Gracie could often be found wandering the passageways enthusiastically singing "9 to 5." Buckley still hasn't lived down the time Dasher caught him quietly singing "Hard Candy Christmas" to himself. And we have lost count of how many evenings ended with all of us gathered in the common room, exhausted after a long day, letting 9 to 5 play in the background until we drifted off to sleep.

Dolly was comfort.

She was joy.

She was a reminder that standing out isn't something to fear - it's something to embrace.

The world knew her for the big hair, the rhinestones, the unmistakable voice, and the larger-than-life presence. Yet somehow, all of that was only a small part of what made her extraordinary. Dolly showed us that being loud, bold, different, and unapologetically yourself could be a gift to the world. She taught self-expression, self-love, and compassion. She showed us that you can stand tall without standing over anyone else.

As a woman-owned business, her example means even more to us. Dolly proved that a woman can be powerful, successful, talented, and beautiful while remaining kind, generous, and deeply human. She showed that success never has to come at the expense of grace, generosity, or heart.

The world lost an icon.

We lost one of our comforts.

Rest well, Dolly.

Thank you for the music, the laughter, the courage, the kindness, and the example.

We will always love you. ❤️

🐾 Hi everybody! It's me, Gracie! Your favorite Co-CEO! 🐾

This week is shaping up to be a pretty exciting one in the Cavern!

👕 August 25th is National Secondhand Wardrobe Day, which is basically one of our favorite holidays around here. After all, giving great clothes a second chance is what thrifting is all about! From everyday wear to vintage treasures, cozy flannels to special occasion outfits, you never know what amazing find is waiting to be discovered.

Speaking of secondhand fashion... have you ever noticed that humans get excited when they find a designer label for a bargain? I get excited when I find a stick that's just right. We all have our priorities. 🐶

Then on August 26th, it's National Dog Day! 🎉

Now, I may be a little biased, but I think dogs are pretty wonderful. We make excellent walking buddies, loyal friends, enthusiastic greeters, professional treat inspectors, and occasional supervisors of family businesses.

I know I'll be celebrating with extra tail wags, a nice walk with Mommy and Daddy, and maybe—just maybe—a special treat or two. (Mommy is reading this. Mommy, this is your official reminder.)

🐾 To celebrate both days, we invite you to stop by and explore our stores! Whether you're looking for clothing, collectibles, music, movies, books, holiday treasures, or unique secondhand finds, we've been busy stocking the Cavern with all sorts of goodies.

✨ Visit ThriftyCavern.com 📚 Check out the Cavern Echo Blog 📰 Sign up for our newsletter to keep up with all the adventures happening in the Cavern 🛍️ Browse our eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Whatnot, Vinted, and Grailed stores

Yesterday was National Relaxation Day, and I celebrated the best way I know how...

🎬 A comfy chair. 🍿 Lots of snacks. 💧 A fresh bowl of water. 📀 A classic movie. 🐶 Absolutely no responsibilities.

Okay, maybe a few responsibilities. Being Co-CEO of Thrifty Cavern is a very important job. Someone has to supervise Mommy, Daddy, Willa, Eugene, Circuit, and the rest of the crew!

But National Relaxation Day reminded me that sometimes it's important to slow down, kick back, and enjoy your favorite things.

Maybe your perfect relaxation day is curling up with a classic movie, listening to music, reading a good book, working on a hobby, decorating for the holidays, or hunting for hidden treasures.

The good news? We can help with all of those!

✨ Visit ThriftyCavern.com to explore our growing collection of treasures.

🛍️ Browse our eBay store, including the ever-expanding Holiday Grotto, where we're already preparing for the upcoming holiday season.

Be sure to check us out on Poshmark, Mercari, Whatnot, and now, Vinted, as well!

🎵 Check out our music, movies, books, collectibles, apparel, holiday décor, and all sorts of unexpected finds.

📚 Don't forget to visit the Cavern Echo Blog at ThriftyCavern.com to meet the Cavern Critters, follow our adventures, and keep up with everything happening behind the scenes.

📰 And be sure to sign up for our newsletter so you never miss a treasure hunt!

Whether you're looking for something fun, something nostalgic, or just something to help you relax after a busy day, there's always something new waiting in the Cavern.

💕 From my comfy movie chair to your home, I hope you're finding time to relax and enjoy the little things.
