First peek at my new office at the (not so) new house! š„° Sheās coming togetherā¦ finally!
A little story time because this office has been a journey. š
When we first moved in, I planned on turning our formal living room into my office. Itās right at the front of the house and I loved being able to look outside and see the world while I worked. Something about that makes working from home feel a little less isolating. Plus, formal living rooms always feel like wasted space to meā¦ so alas, it became my office.
Then I found out I was pregnant a few months later and all of my plans for the space got put on hold. Working from the couch, bed or basically anywhere more comfortable became the moveā¦ IYKYK.
Once I got back to work after having Bennett, I learned reallll fast that I needed a room where I could close the door, get down to business and have a little separation from everything else happening in the house. So my original plan was out and naturally I had to blow everything up and rearrange half the house.š„
My workout room had already moved to the garage to make room for the nursery, so I turned our guest room into my office and the front room into a den/playroom instead. Alasā¦ here we are!
Itās taken some time to get everything moved in, projects finished, organized and decorated. Getting house projects done with a baby when youāre already low on time is HARD! Itās finally coming together though and it feels so good to have an office that feels like ME again.š
