Well March surely got here in a hurry. The Hebert household has been very busy the last few months mainly because of the marriage of my son Dustin to my daughter in law Kristian (Congratulations to you both). We are also getting prepared to receive our first grandchild some time early May. Well enough about that...This will be the year for the addition of the control room and the completion of the vocal booth. This has been a long time coming but will be awesome when finished. We are changing some equipment around and will be adding a screen in the vocal booth to project lyrics. So there is some excitement in the air at the studio ...I can't wait!.... On a side note I'm looking to be doing a brand new side project so we will see where that goes. In other news ...Cottonmouth has a new record on the way ...Talked to my friend Tommy B drummer from Crowbar/Soilent Green the other day and Crowbar is back in the studio...can't wait for that album ...S*k is back at it again rockin the lone star state my good friend Keith Wishon driving the band.... So go out and support your local musicians...we need the money...haha..... "Escape From The Noise"

Well here we are on March 1st and it looks as though we will have to put the studio on hold yet again for things that are not in our control. I'm working a lot right now and just don't have the time but with the money I'm making we may be able to do it better. We will keep you informed as to when we will start and what's going on. Until then "Escape from the noise!"

Hello Facebook friends and welcome 2015. With all the events from last years fire, we had decided to take the rest of last year off to get some fresh ideas, a new direction and a goal. Starting February 1st we will be working on completing the studio in its entirety. We are hopeful that at the end of the year our goal will be achieved. All of us at MONS wish everyone a joyful, prosperous, and peace filled 2015.

November Update ....Well with Halloween over ,and Christmas coming at us like a 5:00pm commuter train on a Friday, that can only mean that deer season is here. In seasons past we have not done a lot of recording but this year may be slightly different. Marc Hernendez ,former frontman of Sinkhole, will be hunting with us here and I'm sure it will lead to doing some work in the studio. We have gotten back to normal ,for the most part, since the fire so the expansion of the control room is again top priority. I have most of the framing material, the roofing, and Tyvex so I can at least close it in. We will keep you informed of developments as they come available but until then ..."Escape from the noise"

Well as you can see all is done with clean up and it looks like a room again. Now comes the fun job of putting everything back together and sorting wires ( which is my favorite part....not!!!) but it is a good time to inspect all the cables and change them out if need be. The only person I'm waiting for is the piano man to inspect and tune which should be this week.

Ok out with the old in with the new.....while I was searching for an outside light I had an epiphany which I'm not going to share at this time. But what I will say is that we will have an updated look as a whole and more importantly a creative atmosphere like no other. So keep watching I will be posting new pics when they come available. We are excited about the new facelift and maybe It will spark some fresh inspirations for our clients.

Now to update what is going on ...the cleanup crew has finished....the electrical is done ...new door in place....sheetrock taped and floated....new tin on roof....vinyl siding installed....painting should be finished by tomorrow inside and out.....then all that is left is pickup any mess and we should at least be back where we were. Thank you God!
