Brand new M5 MacBook Air soaked in a passing rain storm at UConn this afternoon. Charging system and screen affected. Ultrasonics for the PCB and an experimental dehydrator for the panel to save it. Board will be fine as the rot didn’t set in. Saving the panel with no stains will be the difficult task.

Fader board extraction for Trace Rot repair for Midas Pro series board. If your fader is always stuck on @ 100% check the fader for trace rot and damage. In this case a resistor is out of circuit due to the rot.
