Ransomware is bad news. 1 customer got hit today with a zero day variant that neither the mail filter or anti-virus caught before she clicked on it and wrecked their server. If you really want to speed up your computer, consider replacing your hard drive with a solid state drive. I have installed a couple of these in the past week and the performance is amazing. Systems that were previously slow are going from power on to working desktop in under a minute. If you have a desktop PC, you can install an SSD as your boot drive and keep your current drive to hold all you documents, photos, etc.

I just found this really cool app that lets you send text messages from a tablet or PC. It syncs with your phone. Very good for people like me who would rather type with 2 hands than 2 thumbs.
