Did you know that the first computer virus was made by a high school student in 1983?

Rich Skrenta, who was just 15 at the time, created the virus called "Elk Cloner." It targeted Apple II computers through floppy disks. Rather than causing damage, it displayed a playful message when activated, spreading to other disks inserted into the same computer.

This marked the beginning of computer viruses, which has since become a major concern in cybersecurity.
