With a strong background in graphic design and tailoring Candy Woolley personally designs every one of her luxury accessories in her atelier in Miami, she loves being part of every aspect of the production. She has worked for high profile firms such as Univision and Warner Bros. Her style is exotic, graphic, imaginative, and ahead of the trends. As a teenager in her native country of Guatemala she began to learn the sartorial techniques used by her father who was a third generation tailor and from her seamstress mother. Her upbringing in fashion and her professional experience in the entertainment industry help her understand the importance of attention to detail, quality, and innovation. Candy Woolley constantly receives attention from the media and has been featured on CNN Latino, Univision, 944 Magazine, Us Weekly, People Magazine, and several online magazines and blogs. Celebrities who have been spotted wearing her bags include Kourtney Kardashian, Daisy Fuentes, Whitney Port, and many of her bags are often seen on major events and red carpets.

Our girls’ trip is complete! We celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday and Joan Woolley’s 87th. Amazing women and mothers! We traveled around Oklahoma, visited all sorts of museums, several places of interest, and tried new restaurants and others we always enjoy. I got to include my best friend, Jennifer. Grateful for every moment of this 10-day trip! I love my ladies! We are blessed 🙏 to spend time with the people that matter 🥰

Fortunately, we got complimentary upgrades on American, so my mom’s birthday trip was comfortable and stylish. I must start planning where I will take her for her next birthday. Well deserved!! Great mother!!!

On the morning of April 19, 1995, I was getting ready for class. We lived in an apartment 10 miles away from downtown. I felt the explosion, but I had no idea what it was until I got to class at UCO in Edmond; the entire school felt different. All classes had been canceled, and students were walking around campus, and you could see on their faces that something horrible had happened. The bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. It will be a day I will never forget. It’s always so sad to visit the National Memorial—the Federal Building in Oklahoma City; the chairs represent each of the people who lost their lives that day; the small chairs represent the children.

Two relatives were part of the rescue team: Michael and Karen. Michael carried babies from the childcare area inside the building. He lived with PTSD from that horrific experience.

This is my mom’s second visit to this beautiful National Memorial, and my friend Jennifer’s first (she knew it would be too difficult, so she never went before); Joan and I have been here a few times, and it’s never easy.
The date, April 19th, will stay with me forever!
