May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we are talking about it! 🧠💜🐾🌿✨

From my ankle injury in December to my hand surgery in January, the last several months, being secluded, being in pain, struggling like every other small business owner, my mental health took a steep decline. Then add perimenopause, with some serious unknown health issues, it’s the perfect storm for depression and anxiety.

We had a preplanned hiking trip for everything happened and I only got the OK from my doctor less than five days before it. The sheer joy on my face from being able to just be out in nature, not just walk but actually explore on uneven surfaces, with Bruno and Ian, was everything. Connecting with family and nature is a simple but powerful way to support your mental health. 💜💜💜

It is so important that not only that we talk about it, that we remove the stigma. Everyone can benefit from stress relief, universal healthcare, access to therapy and tools to help us navigate and thrive.

What are you doing to improve your mental health this month? Maybe talk a walk, listen to the birds, and enjoy getting outside. ☀️

The only way to celebrate Earth Day is to keep it classy, love your mother and of course, Make America Green Again! 🌎 ♻️ 💜

The current administration has cleared the way to destroy our National Parks System. The removal of environmental and historical protections is atrocious.

This is more than just a paper straw or a plastic bag, this is erasure of history, censorship of exhibits, removing protections for endangered species… it’s endless the damage he’s done.

Trump is the only president to have removed protections for more public land than he has protected, impacting nearly 88 million acres.

There’s literally nothing great about what he has done for this country, or this planet.

But we can do our part. So let’s try to be more sustainable, reuse, upcycle, and pass things on, so they stay out of the landfills.

I’ve been working with mixed materials my whole life, I started out with dried flowers crafts in my teens and now I’m putting my skills to the test with miniature botanical frames. 🌿🌸✨🙌

One of a kind, original concepts, handmade art.

These will be on display at the upcoming Roselle Park Arts Festival for Jury Review. Come see them in person Sat 4/25!

Celebrating and supporting the transgender community is not a trend. It’s a matter of life and death. Today they rolled back the ban on conversion therapy in Colorado. Absolutely disgusting and terrifying.

As always, my shop is a Safe Space. 🌈 Year-round I support local and national organizations that help the trans community.

This year I am fundraising for mutual aid for trans people who are in direct need of financial assistance.

I STAND WITH THE TRANS COMMUNITY FOREVER. 🏳️‍⚧️🙌
