We're thrilled to share the latest update on our journey to 3D print a wheelchair for Zuri! We've successfully printed the straps using a flexible filament called TPU, and we're proud to admit that we took a leap of faith to get here. We'd never worked with TPU before, but we were driven by a sense of purpose and a willingness to learn. And yes, we encountered some setbacks, but that's all part of the growth process!

Last year I went to a conference for work and one of the sessions was focused on women in leadership positions. One of the women said something that really stuck with me, "If there is an opportunity that you have even the slightest chance of getting, go for it. Don't wait until you think you are ready or you will never move forward." Ever since then, I've tried to apply that to my every day life and this was one of those occasions. We weren't super ready to print this wheelchair, but I was confident we could figure it out for Zuri. So far, we're doing just that!

We're all set up at St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church - Sioux City for the craft and vendor show until 2:30pm! There are so many fantastic vendors. Make sure you escape the rain and say hello!
