One of my designs and custom built works of art. The Vintage Shapeshifter. By selecting various switch settings, it can be have tones equivalent to a Bassman, Plexi, Soldano, or any mix of the three. Just shifted from EL34 to 6L6GC and rebiased.
Vintage Shapeshifter 50 tube amp/ 1x12 cabinet with Eminence Governor speaker.
Specs:
Brown alligator tolex
Variably blend Fender, Marshall and Soldano tones
50/25 watt pentode/triode selectable - EL34, 6L6 or 6V6
Tube or solid-state rectification selection switch
Bright/Normal/Both channel selection
Parallel/Cascade (crunch) preamp channel selector
Multi-negative feedback selection - Fender, Plexi, Soldano
Multi-preamp tube bias selection - Fender, Marshall, Soldano
Separate master volumes for parallel and channel cascade (crunch)
4, 8, or 16 ohm speaker selection switch
