The ability to play the organ is a gift. One that can bring comfort, inspiration, reflection, and connection throughout life’s most meaningful moments.

This is why we play.

Just one of the many things

Anna Lapwood + Hauptwerk + Content Organs… this is going to be special.

For centuries, audiences traveled to the pipe organ. With Hauptwerk and Anna’s traveling Cambiare organ, the pipe organ can now travel to the audience.

A real pipe organ is like a house with hardwired light switches. One switch controls one specific light.

But Hauptwerk is more like a smart home. You can configure controls in ways that would be difficult or impossible on many traditional organs.

Here, Hector Olivera explains his custom Hauptwerk setup where the same Clarinet stop can be played from two different keyboards at once.

On a traditional pipe organ, that could require extra couplers, rewiring, or might not even be possible on that instrument.

Hauptwerk gives organists a level
of flexibility impossible on most traditional organs.

Hauptwerk brings organists the experience of a real pipe organ.
And all it takes is one
keystroke to feel it.

The responsiveness.
The nuances.
The realism.
The feeling of being connected to the King of Instruments.

Anna Lapwood continues to introduce an entirely new generation to the pipe organ. Here she is performing on her touring organ, a Hauptwerk Cambiare Series organ by Content Organs.

By combining traditional organ repertoire with film and orchestral music, Anna has brought the organ far beyond the classical mainstream and introduced millions of people to sounds they may never have experienced otherwise.

With her help, maybe the organ won’t seem so spooky anymore.

A little Cavaillé-Coll with coffee.
Bach before breakfast.
Full organ to wake up the
rest of the house.

For organists, inspiration doesn’t wait.

Playing whatever you want the moment you wake up is hard to put into words.

That’s the beauty of Hauptwerk.
Something Hector Olivera appreciates every day.

The Aeolian-Skinner Op. 1510 at Memorial Presbyterian Church

The incredible scale and complexity of the pipe organ are exactly why Hauptwerk is so special, bringing the experience of an entire pipe organ into a single console and allowing organists to play hundreds of remarkable instruments from around the world from virtually anywhere.

A special thank you to Matthew Lonnie Daniel, Director of Music and Organist at Memorial Presbyterian Church, for the wonderful tour and for sharing this extraordinary instrument with us.

Hector Olivera at home on his Hauptwerk organ.

It’s said it takes 10,000 hours to achieve mastery.

Rough math… starting at age three puts him well over 140,000 hours.

Grateful to be part of it.
