Even in a serious role, helping schools navigate systems and operations, there are moments that cut through the complexity and remind me why I enjoy this work.

Today, while deep in planning and strategy, I heard a young student confidently announce, “I am John Cena.”

I couldn’t help myself. I walked down the hallway asking who said it. He stepped forward, beaming, and proudly repeated it.

Moments like that break the intensity, restore perspective, and reinforce that behind every system, process, and plan… there are people. And sometimes, they’re absolutely hilarious.

This looks ridiculous.
It wasn’t.

This hard drive spent about 12 hours in a freezer so I could get one last window to recover a client’s data.

It’s not a best practice. It’s not in a manual. And it’s definitely not Plan A.

But when the alternative is “the data is gone,” sometimes experience matters more than elegance.

Most of the work that actually saves people never makes it into a marketing brochure.
This was one of those times.

Two of our affiliated community groups — Tech Talks of Lee County and Oliver’s Twists — will soon transition from Private to Public.

This shift enables broader visibility, easier access to resources, and more open participation for residents, educators, families, and small businesses across Lee County.

Hi LBS followers. I took a break from posting, because my summer was full, with our first Nanu and Popcorn summer camp of 2025. Four of our grandchildren stayed with us for 7 weeks, lasting from mid-June to the end of the first week of August. We did so much, and each played hard and had, I think, a great time. More memories than can possibly be shared. More pictures than can possibly be shared. In about a week or two I will begin posting again and so much more to come and share and I hope you stay tuned. KML3 news has got explosive audio from recordings and pictures of the events from the 1500s when the meetings between printing press operators and artificial intelligence was had.
