My main focus is fine art photography. I’m proficient in Photoshop and also available for retouching photographs, graphic design and digital hand-coloring.

“Montana Retreat: Walk This Way”

I had an opportunity to attend an immersive Zen artist retreat, “The Alchemy of Ink”, in Flathead Valley, Montana last summer. As one of our field trips, we went to Glacier National Park, with the intention of getting inspiration from the forest as we walked through the woods. Indeed, it was uplifting and motivating.

My concept for this year’s box was to pick one with interesting woodgrain patterns, so I could incorporate parts of the box with my photographs of the trees, creeks and pathways.

I saw Andy Goldsworthy’s Red Flag exhibit at Fort Mason in the Gateway Pavilion. It’s there through July 30. If you go, stop by the tiny information desk to pick up a list of the name and number of the state flags.
Unlike myself. Still intriguing. 🤔

Happy to say my miniature art chair got 1st Place at the Marin County Fair. Even better, my photograph “Like Father, Like Daughter” also got 1st Place. I always enjoy seeing all the art work at the Fair. Still 2 more days to check it out.

This is my new Art Chair for the Marin County Fair. It’s a miniature chair, just 7” tall. I also have two photographs in the exhibition. “Like Father, Like Daughter” and “The Wheel Keeps Turning”. Hope you get a chance to check them all out at the Fair. It runs July 1 through the July 5.

Happy Father’s Day.
Today, I’m thinking of my dad and the inspiration he passed down to his daughters. For me, he inspired my love of photography, & making things. For my sisters, they share the passion for cooking and baking.
You’re always in our hearts. ♥️

Only 3 more ‘specific’ days left to see my solo photography exhibit at Mill Valley City Hall.
Today, Thursday 5/21, Tuesday 5/26 and Wednesday 5/27. I’ll be taking the show down on 5/28. I’ve enjoyed having my work out there to share with everyone. I appreciate all the support and insightful feedback I’ve gotten from people. My passion for photography continues… more to come.

I hope you can make it to Art Works Downtown on the 2nd Friday Art Walk this Friday, May 8, from 5-8pm.

The current exhibition is Abstraction. I have one of my photographs in the show titled, “The Wheel Keeps Turning”.

Abstraction opens space to think and feel visually. Through elements such as color, gesture, structure, pattern, and process, this exhibition offers an engaging encounter with expansive possibilities. Whether drawn to quiet nuance or striking energy, you are invited to explore, reflect, discover, and even acquire new perspectives through Abstraction.

The exhibit is up until May 23, Wednesday-Saturday, 11am-5pm.
