Real-time contractor tracking platform - like DoorDash's live map, but for your local contractor. Customers track their technician via SMS link, no app install needed.

- We built a sub-second GPS pipeline inspired by how Strava and DoorDash handle live location - event-driven streaming, instant cached rendering, smooth marker animation
- Designed a fan-out architecture where a single GPS update broadcasts to N customer views simultaneously via WebSocket
- Raw PostgreSQL with parallel writes and Redis caching - no ORM, optimized for real-time throughput
- Distance-adaptive ETA using Google Maps Directions API with Haversine fallback when API is unavailable
- 400+ integration tests with full end-to-end lifecycle coverage
- Currently in user testing with local contractors.
