❓ What does it take to support thousands of GIS users across one of the largest cities in the United States?

For The City of San Diego's Public Utilities Department, it meant shifting its aging GIS data viewer into a modern platform that connects staff with the infrastructure data, documents, reports, and inspection information they need every day.

Working closely with the city's Public Utilities Department GIS team, Quartic helped modernize the application using ArcGIS Experience Builder, custom widgets, and integrations that streamline critical workflows across the organization.

🎓 A meaningful celebration of the next generation of geospatial leaders!

Quartic is proud to partner with San Diego State University to help bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience for students pursuing geography.

The students pictured here are the 2025–2026 Quartic experiential learning fund recipients. These funds supported a research project on Catalina Island, participation in the American Association of Geographers conference, and continued academic support to advance their studies.
