CAMEROON, I AM COMING!!!

I am happy to be heading to Yaoundé, Cameroon for the MCT Africa Tech Summit 2026, happening September 24–25.

This year’s theme, “Beyond Technology: Building a Trusted & Intelligent Digital Era,” could not be more relevant.

I will be taking the stage to talk about “The Hidden Cost of AI: Every Token Counts for MCTs” - exploring how MCTs can use AI smarter, teach more effectively and understand the importance of token usage and FinOps.

I am also looking forward to meeting, reconnecting and learning from my amazing peers and technology community across Africa. 🌍

I can’t wait to experience Cameroon, connect with the community and have some great conversations!

See you in Yaoundé! 🇨🇲🔥

I had a great time as a panelist at the CyBlack Conference 2026 discussing Automating Security: Efficiency Gain or Skills Erosion?

We explored an important question facing the cybersecurity industry today: As AI and automation continue to transform security, how do we embrace the benefits without losing human judgement, critical thinking and skills that remain essential?

My message was that automation should remove repetitive work not critical thinking.

A special thank you to the Organisers for the kind invitation and for putting together such a fantastic event.

It was great connecting with fellow panelists and engaging with the wider cybersecurity community in the UK.

This year's FinOps X 2026 gave a direction of where enterprise tech space is heading. FinOps will no longer be about cloud cost but will now include AI spending, token economics, model efficiency, GPU utilisations and the worst of it right now is that no one has an answer.

I cannot wait to see how this new space will evolve, companies will adapt and people will connect.

Shout to the FinOps Foundation and my Practitioner friends.

Can't wait to see you all next year.

Day 2 at FinOps X was informative.

With the introduction of tokenomics by The Linux Foundation & Tokenomics Foundation, Tokens will be the new currency for AI.

This year will be the last FinOps X as next year will be the inaugural launch for the Tokenomicon Conference. Can't wait to see what that brings.

I had a good time connecting practitioners and massive shout-out to PointFive Flexera ProsperOps Finout Microsoft Amazon Web Services (AWS) Adaptive6 Google Manifold Enterprise Solutions Synyega FinOps Foundation

Can't wait for Day 3....
