Mid-City Skatepark Advocacy Group

Mid-City Skatepark Advocacy Group We're a group of community folks who would like to see one or more skateparks built in the Mid-City area of San Diego, likely in City Heights.

The Mid-City Skatepark Advocacy Group's goal is to have a mid-sized City of San Diego skatepark built in the Mid-City area. We will do this by developing relationships with the appropriate city and community staff and representatives, working through the bureaucratic processes, generating community support, and acquiring the needed funds for the design and construction of the park. This project st

It's been a while. But all the work has paid off. Ribbon cutting at the City Heights Skatepark tomorrow, Wednesday January 17th from 3:30pm-4:30pm at Park de la Cruz, behind the old Copley Family YMCA on Landis St.

Hope to see you all there!

Don't forget to come out next Wednesday, January 17th @ 3:30 and join us at the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the great work accomplished by Mid-City CAN's Youth council and their success of creating a safe and secure environment for youth recreation.
