Think twice before responding to a pop-up dialog on your PC that claims to have found problems.

Even when it looks legit, a new breed of malware may display phony pop-up warnings to try and trick you into installing their super-duper cleaner utility! Sometimes, it even looks like a normal Windows dialog or your own anti-virus program! If in doubt, don't click anywhere in the dialog box - even a "close" or "no thanks" button or the red "x" in the corner can trigger the infection.

Better to close the dialog window by right-clicking the corresponding item in your taskbar and selecting "Close window" or bring up Task Manager and end the suspicious task/process from there.

Run a full scan of your computer as soon as possible.
