Caught live and in the act with his partner in crime Skid Roper back in July 1988 at Chicago’s Cubby Bear... Guzzlin’ Gin, Destroying All Lawyers, and proving that Elvis truly IS Everywhere!

The ‘Oils rip through a 90minute set from April 30, 1988, JUST following the release of their break-through album ‘Diesel and Dust’ which woild propel the band to global success. This week on “No Tape Left Behind” - The Aadam Jacobs Collection - we have choosen Aadam’s first recording of a Pixies show. And this one, well, it simply KICKS ASS>>>

From June of 1988, this 27 song/90+ minute set rips through most all of their early masterpieces from “Surfer Rosa” & “Come On Pilgram”, as well as some of the “unreleased tracks” from the era. The sound on this bootleg is quite excellent and the volunteers Internet Archive Live Music Archive have done some super work clearning up and sweetening the original analog recordings for us to enjoy. So if you never saw the band live in this, their heyday, you do NOT want to miss this opportunity to hear them in all their glory via internet radio on your home stereo, or through your best headphones!
