According to Pew Research, more than 60 million couples in America get married every year. There certainly aren’t 60 million identical weddings, however; each ceremony is personal and special to the couple. There are so many ways that you can make your wedding unique and individual, from the music to the venue. Your wedding rings, the biggest symbol of love and commitment, are a great way to inject your own style and personality into your wedding. They are something that you will wear and treasure for the rest of your lives together. So when you’re choosing your wedding bands, think outside of the box, and go for something more personal than a plain metal band.

Textured rings for movie lovers
Having a textured wedding ring is extremely popular, especially for men’s wedding rings. Men’s wedding bands are practical and easy-to-wear, but still stylish and unique. They can be made from hard-wearing alternative metals like tungsten or titanium. If you’re a fan of Game of Thrones, you could go for a dragon-scale texture, even incorporating a silver inlay. For Thor fans, a simple, hammered texture is popular, and also symbolic of strength within a relationship. If you love Guardians of the Galaxy, you could have a ring textured to look like Groot, or even Treebeard from Lord of the Rings. Different textures give you many options to personalize your wedding ring without affecting how practical it is.
Wedding rings for gamers
If you’re a life-long gamer, there are plenty of ways that you can make your wedding ring unique. You could have a black titanium or cobalt band that includes a ruby, aquamarine, emerald, and pink topaz, set in engraved shapes, to match the buttons on your Playstation controller. Another option is to have your wedding band engraved with details from your all-time favorite game, for instance, the little jeweled mushrooms from Super Mario. You could also have your rings engraved in a gaming font with “Player 1” and “Player 2.” New technology in laser engraving means that you can specify a really accurate design if you’re having your wedding rings custom-made.

Rings for bookworms
If you love books, there are plenty of ways that you can incorporate your passion into your wedding ring. Having your names translated into Elvish and engraved on the inside of your wedding band is always popular. You could also have a quote about love from your favorite book engraved on your rings: for example, “You are my heart, my life, my one and only thought,” from The White Company by Arthur Conan Doyle, or “We are asleep until we fall in love,” from War and Peace.” You could even have a wedding ring designed like a famous magic ring from literature, such as the ring that contains part of Voldemort’s soul in the Harry Potter books.

People love Amazon’s Alexa as a great digital assistant. It can help you do important things like set reminders, alarms, and much more, but now it looks like it can even take over some of your parental duties by reading with your kids and helping them with things like their accuracy or pronunciation of certain words.

The new feature is called Reading Sidekick. Through an Echo Kids device, it will actively listen to your kids when they are reading out loud. Then Alexa and your kids will take turns reading through supported books. So if this was an activity that you used to do with your kids but you don’t have the time, Alexa will take your place. Hopefully, your kids don’t call her mommy after this.

In order to take advantage of this feature, you will need to have a subscription to Kids+ and an Echo Kids device. There are over 700 titles supported by the feature, which is not a lot when you consider how many children’s books are out there, but it’s a good start.

This could be a useful tool for those times when you aren’t available for your kids. That way they can still continue learning.

Team Wires based in London has created a new range of modular sunglasses called Forever Wires which have been designed to last a lifetime. The modular eyewear system allows you to quickly remove the rims and change the glasses style to suit your outfit, event or holiday. This means you only need one Wire which is the basis of the glasses and handmade in Italy with patented invisible hinge technology, enabling it to fits with multiple types of rims.

The design of the sunglasses is sustainable and offers a chance to own zero waste sunglasses thanks to a bio-based material based on rapeseed oil which is used to create the unique designs combined with stainless steel wire which has been handcrafted in Italy. No screws are used in the hinges and the rims are 3D printed with PA 11 a nylon polymer made predominantly from Castor oil harvested from castor beans. While the lenses are constructed from the castor oil plant and manufactured with biomass energy to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in comparison to traditional polycarbonate lenses.
Early bird pledges are now available for the inventive project from roughly $124 or £92 (depending on current exchange rates). If the Forever Wires campaign successfully raises its required pledge goal and manufacturing progresses smoothly, worldwide shipping is expected to take place sometime around February 2022. Just five days after Apple released iOS 15 beta 2, the first iOS 15 public beta is now available. If you haven’t already, you can sign up for the Apple Beta Software Program for free on the company’s website. Once you’re enrolled, you can download public beta releases on all of your compatible devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Watch models.

First of all, we should point out that all of the devices that were supported by iOS 14 will be supported by iOS 15 as well, so if you were able to update to iOS 14, you’re in the clear for at least one more year, even if you’re still using an iPhone 6s Plus, an iPad Air 2, or an iPad mini 4.

As for new features, iOS 15 upgrades FaceTime with spatial audio, a grid view, Portrait Mode, and SharePlay to share music, movies, and more during video calls. The new Focus feature lets you make custom modes to decide which notifications you see depending on what time it is and where you are, Live Text can recognize text and let you select it, Memory Mixes let you edit custom Memories in the Photos app, and a few apps are getting significant redesigns, like Maps and Weather.
