It’s been a little quiet here, but Coyote Ridge Techworks has been moving.

I’ve been working behind the scenes on a new tool called Rook Smart Home Diagnostic Assistant — an AI-assisted support tool designed to help people troubleshoot smart home and connected-device issues.

Rook can help turn problems like:

• “My camera is offline”
• “My smart lock won’t respond”
• “My smart devices won’t reconnect after a router change”
• “My motion sensor keeps triggering false alerts”

into a structured diagnostic report with likely causes, next steps, safety notes, and escalation guidance.

It can also create a support ticket so Coyote Ridge Techworks can follow up when someone needs hands-on help.

This is still an early working prototype, but it’s live and functional now:
