Your company may not have an AI problem.

You may have a workflow problem.

I recently read an article about a term that caught my attention:

👉 Workslop.

It describes AI-generated work that looks productive on the surface—but ultimately creates more work for someone else.

A long AI-generated email that nobody needs.

A report filled with information but lacking insight.

A meeting summary that requires someone to verify everything.

A document that took AI 30 seconds to produce but takes an employee 30 minutes to clean up.

That's not efficiency. That's work being moved around.

And this is exactly why I believe businesses should assess the workflow BEFORE implementing AI.

I read a great article this week about how AI is changing the way federal agencies work, and one line stuck with me:

**AI should prepare the work. People should make the decision.**
