Well another Alamo GT in the books for Kill Team! First as always the 16 players who participated were phenomenal. The tournament had some fantastic matchups between the best players in the state playing Close Quarters/ITD/Critical Operations.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALARIC KARCZAG FOR BEST PAINTED: Adepta Sororitas!!!

The last game had some brutal battles especially; the third table which had Austin’s Charles Ashton’s Talons of the Emperor doling out the emperor’s fury against the Alamo’s own Alexander Salazar’s hangry Farstalker Kinband; the skirmish wound end in a tied finish.

The second table featured a treat; McAllen’s Texas Nexus provided a tabletop tactics dissertation from Robert Chris Anzaldua “Academic Chris” and his Intercession Squad had to face the dark arts from the Hands of Archon wielded by one of Houston’s top players from club “Atomic Kill Team”, Nathan Smith. The battle would see the emperor’s glory at the end!

The top table would feature a title unification match to see who was the pound-for-pound best Kill Team player in texas. The top Austin player from Viva Phobos Ryan Zentgraf vs San Antonio’s top player from Friendly Operatives Nathan Watts. Ryan would narrowly pilot his Starstriders past the cyber optics of Nathan’s Hunter Clade; it was literally 1 point difference with a hit point swinging the results one way or the other.

Our winner Ryan Zentgraf is receiving the GOLD TICKET which qualified him to participate in GWs first World Championships in Atlanta, Georgia in November.

The first knife of the Alamo GT weekend was given away at Foul Bowl I. This was a Blood Bowl Tournament centered around fouling your opponent.
