🇰🇪 Why Kenya? Why Migori?

In just a few weeks, our team will travel to Migori County, Kenya—a beautiful region home to more than 1.2 million people. Yet many families still face significant challenges related to poverty, access to healthcare, education, sanitation, and basic hygiene resources.

Across Kenya, nearly 40% of the population lives below the poverty line, and millions struggle to meet basic daily needs.

For many of the children we’ll meet, something as simple as:
🪥 A toothbrush
🧼 A bar of soap
📚 School supplies
⚽ A soccer ball
❤️ Encouragement and human connection

can make a meaningful difference.

Our goal is to help build a school, provide hygiene kits, school supplies, health education, chiropractic and medical care to hundreds of children and families in Migori.

This isn’t about changing the whole world.

It’s about changing their world.

Most chiropractors have tried the weekly team meeting.

Most of them quietly stopped doing it.

Not because it doesn't work. Because nobody ever showed them the part that actually makes it work.

I used to cancel ours the second things got hectic too. Told myself the team knew what to do. That we'd catch up later. We never did.

What I didn't see at the time: the chaos wasn't a reason to skip the meeting. It was the reason to PROTECT it.

Practices that grow past 7 figures aren't run by people with more talent or more hours. They just have one thing most practices don't.

⚽ 5.5 billion people will watch the World Cup this year.

Half the planet, one tournament, starting tomorrow.

My son sleeps, dreams and breathes soccer and this week is everything to him.

Like every kid who loves this game right now, one name dominates the conversation.

Messi.

39 years old, sixth World Cup, already won it all in 2022.

He has nothing left to prove and he is showing up anyway.

Children cry watching him train. Families drive across states just to be in the same stadium. Adults who have never watched a soccer game in their life know his name.

That does not happen because of talent alone.

It happens because of what he built over decades, the consistency, the standard, the legacy that outlasted every critic who said he would never win the big one.

I think about that when I look at my son's excitement this week.

He is not just watching a soccer player.

He is watching what it looks like when someone refuses to stop building.

That is the thing most chiropractors never give themselves permission to do.

They got into this profession to build something meaningful, something their family would be proud of, and somewhere along the way the grind swallowed that vision whole.

You didn't get into this to just survive it.

The question is whether you are building something worth showing up for.
