Longs Peak 6 ways.
Here is my painting video of my watercolor process. I really like to paint several versions of the same subject at once. I learn as I go and make subtle variations. Some are more red, some more or less contrasty. Am I the only one who paints like this? Lmk when you give it a try.

Found my IG friend .lakey art over the weekend. I am always inspired my her vibrant colors and interpretive shapes. So fun to see her art in the context of her environment, 102 degrees 😂.

We finally journeyed all the way to BV & visited … AMAZING, top notch art supply store, worth the trip from anywhere.
One of my goals this year is to paint larger so I visited Scott to buy large single pieces of watercolor paper. He stocks cold and hot press - I bought 2 different cold press, a rough, a sheet of black and some Japanese paper.
Besides all the professional art supplies he has lots of items for the - journals, art books, paint by number etc. is luck to have this store.

So inspired by the lovely work of I painted the city from Iowa! Yesterday I didn’t even leave the house, this only happens @ twice a year, no dog to walk, no school to attend, just tea and art, baby. Hope you are having an amazing holiday week!
