Job Description
Velocity IQ has an immediate opening for a Level 1 Support Technician at our client location in the St Petersburg, FL area. We would like to find a professional who is eager to learn and grow both technically and professionally. Candidate, if hired, will help to provide end-user technical support, hands-on troubleshooting and equipment installation, and technical consulting for a large multi-office corporate environment.
We are hiring for multiple shifts.

Technical Requirements
- Minimum of at least 2 years real-world IT experience
- Knowledge of basic networking, TCP/IP, DNS and routing
- Experience working with Windows Active Directory and Group Policy
- Strong understanding of the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of computer hardware and components
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, the registry, group policy, device drivers and more
- Proficiency with malware remediation, removal and the ability to explain how and why malware penetrates corporate environments
- Experience working with Office 365 including Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, network tools and other tools are a big plus
- General knowledge of virtualization and working with VMWare ESXI
- General understanding of wireless networks
- General VOIP experience preferred
