Hail, convective winds, unseasonable freezes, and interior plumbing leaks quickly step in to fill the gap left by coastal surges. But here’s the challenge: a desk trained heavily for wind might nail storm dates and roof damage, but overlook crucial details like water pathways, mitigation status, or prior repair history on a plumbing claim.
The goal at intake should always be simple: the next person to touch the file should be able to act immediately, not spend time reconstructing the initial call. That gap right there is where avoidable cycle time and costly rework creep in.
